Ballard Homestead

A nonprofit community space. Music & culture events presented by Abbey Arts.

History: Built in 1923, renovated 2014-15 with major renovations led by Brian Wardlaw and community volunteers. Reopened March 2015 as a community arts space curated by Abbey Arts. In 2012, local community members and young church leaders came together to open the space for the community.

Rental policies

Alcoholnone — No alcohol served at shows. Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages may be available. Venue policy: 'No drunken rowdiness.' Private rental alcohol policy may differ.
Rental info$1,500-$2,500 for reception; includes 8 hours (setup and cleanup). Additional hours $100/hr. Often lower pricing than typical venues.
