Barboza
An intimate basement music venue beneath Neumos on Capitol Hill, hosting up-and-coming local and national talent in a sweaty, shoebox-shaped room with a full bar.
History: Opened in 2012 as the sister venue to Seattle's legendary Neumos. The basement space was formerly an underutilized storage area, and before that a historic Pike/Pine Auto Row dealership's mechanical shop with an elevator that lowered automobiles below street level.
