Legendary independent record store and full-service cafe/bar in the heart of the West Seattle Junction, hosting regular in-store performances and events since 1988.
History: Founded in 1988 when 18-year-old Matt Vaughan consolidated two failing record stores into one. Moved to its current corner location in the historic Hamm Building the following year. Has hosted memorable performances by Pearl Jam, the Sonics, and numerous national touring acts. Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready have made surprise appearances at Record Store Day events.
