History: Founded in 1911, MOHAI is the largest private heritage organization in Washington state. The museum moved to its current location in the historic Naval Reserve Armory Building at Lake Union Park in 2012 after its original Montlake building was demolished for the SR 520 freeway expansion. The collection includes nearly four million artifacts, photographs, and archival materials focusing on Seattle and the Puget Sound region. Admission: Adults $25, Seniors $20, Students $19, Children 14 and under free.
