Nonprofit independent art house cinema and film arts center offering two screening rooms, filmmaker workshops, equipment rental, and community events on Capitol Hill.

History: Founded in 1995 as WigglyWorld Studios by filmmakers Jamie Hook and Deborah Girdwood. Renamed Northwest Film Forum in 1996. Operated Seattle's longest-continuously running movie theater, the Grand Illusion Cinema. Hosts the annual Local Sightings Film Festival showcasing Pacific Northwest filmmakers.

AccessibilityTicketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and public edit lab are wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. Upstairs workshop room is NOT wheelchair accessible. Limited assistive listening devices available for Cinema 1 programs.
