Screwdriver Bar
Basement rock and roll bar in the historic Barnes Building, decorated with music memorabilia and featuring pinball, arcade games, and a jukebox, with the adjoining Belltown Yacht Club live music venue in back.
History: The basement space was a grunge-era recording studio and rehearsal space in the late 1980s and early 1990s, famously used by Nirvana during the period between their albums Bleach and Nevermind. The space remained dormant from 1991 until Dave Flatman, Chris Jones, and Bryan Krieger opened Screwdriver Bar in 2016. The Belltown Yacht Club live music venue was later added in the adjoining space.
