History: Stoup Brewing was founded in 2013 in Ballard. In June 2023, Stoup purchased Capitol Hill's Optimism Brewing and opened this second location in August 2023. The Capitol Hill beer hall occupies the former Optimism space at Broadway and Union. Stoup celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023.
