Tractor Tavern
Legendary Ballard live music venue operating for over 30 years, known as a cornerstone of Seattle's roots, Americana, folk, and alt-country music scene.
History: The building was erected in 1902 and reportedly once housed a Scandinavian dance hall, followed by concert venues including the Prairie Schooner and New Melody Tavern. Dan Cowan took over in August 1993 and opened the Tractor Tavern in 1994. Celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024. The venue has been a defining force in Seattle's roots and Americana music scene for three decades.
